Western Red Cedar is New Zealand's premium cladding timber — naturally durable, lightweight, dimensionally stable and free of the maintenance demands of treated alternatives. Cedarland supplies both Clear Grade (knot-free, imported from the Pacific Northwest) and NZ-grown tight knot Western Red Cedar, custom-machined to your exact dimensions for cladding, weatherboards, shiplap, shingles, shakes, sarking, soffits, screening battens, fascia boards and fencing. Available dressed or bandsawn, in lengths up to 5 metres, with optional pre-staining and pre-priming. Every piece is processed to order at our Hastings mill and freighted nationwide.

We can produce cladding profiles, weatherboards, shiplap, panelling, screening battens, posts, beams, fascia boards, decking and more. Available dressed or bandsawn, with optional kiln drying, pre-staining and pre-priming.
